As many of you already know, Lane has teamed up with Sallie Mae to provide three outstanding students with scholarships worth $500. Lane supplements these awards with an additional $500, bringing the total to $1,000 each. New in 2007, are seven additional scholarships to assist employees' children who plan to continue their education in college. Each of these scholarships will be worth $1,000 at an accredited institution of the student's choice. Children of Officers are not eligible and students can only be awarded one scholarship from the two offered, but we encourage all who are eligible to apply for both! Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. The deadline for the Lane Scholarship is May 15th, 2008 and the SallieMae scholarship is June 15th, 2008
