The Project involves widening of I-85 from south of the US 29/NC 49 Connector in Mecklenburg County to Speedway/Concord Mills Boulevard in Cabarrus County.
Keyhole Hardstand Expansion Project
Prime contractor for Design-Build demolition of existing keyhole hardstands and construction of a new 590 meter long by 110 meter wide concrete holding apron. Lane performed all demolition, grading, storm drainage, and concrete paving. LPA performed all design work under subcontract to Lane.
I-4 (SR 400) Widening, Polk County
This is a design/build project to Widening Interstate 4 (SR 400) from 4 lanes to 6 lanes with 10 ft paved shoulders for 16 miles from mile post 32 to mile post 48.
Knightdale Bypass
Joint Venture Partner for the complete design and construction of a new 15.51 kilometer limited access highway with 22 bridge structures, grading, drainage, erosion control, paving and relocation of utilities.
Design-Build Primary Runway Reconstruction
Prime contractor for Design-Build demolition and reconstruction of existing 10,100 ft. concrete runway with bituminous shoulders. Demolition of 96,000 square yards of existing concrete and bituminous pavements and reconstruction with new 14" thick,10 1/2" and 11 1/2" thick concrete runway and keel sections with new 62.5' wide asphalt shoulders including underdrain and pavement grooving and marking.

Prime Contractor for the fast-track reconstruction of Runway 12-30, the only east/west runway at Washington Dulles International Airport in a time allotment of 134 calendar days.
5th Runway Construction Hartsfield Atlanta Airport, GA
The Atlanta International Airport paving project is scheduled to commence on March 1, 2005. The project is valued at over $61,852,000 and will be constructed over a 13 month period.
Runway Reconstruction Memphis International Airport
Prime Contractor for the complete reconstruction of Runway 18R-36L including the removal and on site crushing of existing materials for use as sub-base prior to the placement of a new 19" thick concrete pavement.
Bradley International Airport
Prime Contractor for the construction of a new glycol deicing facility including excavation, embankment, drainage facilities, glycol pumping station and tanks and a new 20,000 SY concrete apron for remote deicing of commercial aircraft. Additionally, under a separate contract, Lane is performing various sitework and ancillary concrete work at the new East Concourse Terminal.
Sabre Heliport Improvement Project
Prime Contractor for a new heliport runway and taxiway system including grading and drainage at Ft. Campbell Army Base in Tennessee.
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport
Complete demolition and reconstruction of an existing concrete apron for the newly constructed and renamed Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
Stafford Regional Airport - Phase IV

Joint Venture Managing Partner for the complete design and construction of a 3.1 mile mass transit cut & cover line and aerial structures in suburban Washington, D.C. The Lane Construction Corporation is serving as Prime Contractor performing the work.
New York Avenue Station
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority awarded a $70 million Design-Build contract to the joint venture team of Slattery Skanska and The Lane Construction Corporation for the complete design and construction of a new "infill" passenger station built on the operating Red Line between Union Station and Rhode Island Avenue Station.
