Lane owns and operates more than 50 bituminous asphalt plants, quarries, aggregate plants and transit mix plants at various locations throughout the northeast, mid Atlantic, and southern regions of the country. We have the capability to develop natural resources anywhere in the nation with a fleet of portable crushing plants, concrete batching plants and drum-mix asphalt plants.

Green Products

Lane can offer our customers Green Products:

  • Products that by being manufactured with local materials conserve fuel used in transportation
  • Products that use recycled materials as ingredients
  • Products that by design have environmental benefits such as storm water infiltration
  • Products that qualify for LEED credits

Green Products include:

  • Recycled base materials
  • Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Pavement using recycled asphalt pavement (RAP)
  • Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) with fly ash, slag
  • Pervious pavements (HMA and RMC)

What is LEED?

  • Leadership in Energy and Design (LEED) is a nationally recognized rating system developed by The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
  • LEED ratings (silver, gold, platinum) are achieved by credits in five major areas: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
