LANE |

Concrete

Lane produces both Central mix (mixed at the plant before transporting) and Transit mix (mixed en route to the job site) concrete. Lane owns and operates both types of plants located in the northeast and on specific projects throughout the country. Concrete is typically used in foundations for buildings and homes and for high traffic, heavy load pavements such as major highways and airports. The majority of the concrete Lane produces is placed by Lane's own forces using Lane equipment.

The environment is an important consideration to us in the manufacture of concrete.

Lane uses fly ash and slag when allowable. These products are substitutes for virgin materials.

Lane makes blocks out of as much returned concrete as possible to minimize waste.

Lane reuses truck wash water at many operations to minimize virgin water use.
