A. Max Brewer Bridge Replacement
The A. Max Brewer Bridge, which spans the Indian River in Titusville, connected the City of Titusville to the barrier island. Work began on a design-build replacement project in 2009. Lane demolished the approach spans, saw-cutting them into five longitudinal sections for each span. Lane then built the new bridge superstructure, which is located south of the old bridge. The replacement bridge is comprised of pre-tensioned, 78-inch bulb-tee approach spans and a post-tensioned, three-span continuous modified 78-inch bulb-tee channel unit.
