Materials & Equipment
Lane, with its affiliate companies, owns and operates 70 asphalt, transit mix, and crushing facilities and 11 quarries along the eastern seaboard and as far west as Texas. These plants provide asphalt paving materials, aggregates, and concrete to many Lane projects.
The environment is an important consideration to us in the manufacture of our products which include bituminous concrete, construction aggregates, and concrete. Some of our products may qualify for LEED credits.
What is LEED?
Leadership in Energy and Design (LEED) is a nationally recognized rating system developed by The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). LEED ratings (silver, gold, platinum) are achieved by credits in five major areas: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. Lane is a member of the USGBC.
