Construction Will Cause I-95 Detour in Aroostook

Starting in mid-June, a section of Interstate 95 northbound will be closed as the Department of Transportation begins a major reconstruction project to the road.

Governor Cuomo Announces $29 Million Twin Bridges Work Completed, All Lanes Open to Traffic

The following information was released by the office of the governor of New York:

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced major work on a $29 million project to replace the bridge decks on the northbound and southbound Thaddeus Kosciuszko Bridges - commonly known as the Twin Bridges - carrying Interstate 87 (the Northway) over the Mohawk River between Albany and Saratoga counties, has been completed. Preliminary work on the Interstate 485 widening project in south Mecklenburg was scheduled to begin Monday night after state transportation officials postponed the Sunday start because of bad weather.
