Safety

The Lane Construction Corporation considers the safety of its employees and the general public to be a matter of prime importance. Even though a good safety record is essential, the ultimate goal is to provide a healthy and safe environment for all employees. We also work hard to comply with all applicable Federal, State and local requirements, and be guided by good practice as necessary for location and circumstances.

Lane's corporate Safety Program is coordinated by our Director of Corporate Safety based in our home office reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The responsibility for safety extends from top management to trade workers including everyone in between. The Plant and Project Manager at each Lane location has overall responsibility for conducting a safe worksite. Area or Project Safety Supervisors carry out the day-to-day activities required to ensure that the workplace is in compliance with the corporate Safety Program.

GENERAL STATEMENT

This Safety Program outlines our company policy concerning conditions, practices, and procedures which must be observed to assist us in our goals. Rather than providing an exhaustive listing of safety rules, this policy covers those company requirements which go above and beyond the various governmental regulations with which we must comply. Some items serve to clarify our interpretation of, and means of implementing, those regulations where discretion is permitted.
