"Our top priority is the Health and Safety of our employees, partners, and the communities we operate in"

At Lane, the health and safety of our employees, our business partners, and those in the communities around us is always our number one goal. In today’s world, this goal becomes even more difficult to achieve, but we remain diligent in our efforts despite the ever-changing challenge of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic during this unprecedented time.

Lane has been tirelessly working around the clock to fight COVID-19. We knew the seriousness of the health crisis when we witnessed how quickly it impacted the lives of our friends and colleagues from our parent company Salini Impregilo, based in Italy, and the new norm of living and working they have adopted as a result. While the construction sector has been deemed an essential workforce in most places around the U.S., we are mindful of the social and economic impact our response to this situation can have on all our stakeholders. That’s why it is of the utmost importance to us that we manage the prevention and protection from COVID-19 while maintaining the continuity of our operations to the best of our ability. On our construction sites, we are working with our stakeholders on a case-by-case basis, addressing state and local requirements to ensure effective operational planning with our clients, partners, and subcontractors continues. Our office staff is following shelter in place orders as they are issued and have been given the means to carry out their jobs remotely as seamlessly as possible. For our frontline workers, we are constantly implementing ever evolving best practices. While some of the adjustments we are making may take some getting used to, we have to remember this is a temporary period of our lives, and that we are all in this together. And the steps we take as a community at large will help minimize the risk to not only those we work with, but also our family, friends, and ultimately, the general public’s health. Thank you for your efforts in helping stop the spread. May everyone stay safe and healthy.
