The Lane Construction Corporation has joined the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) to raise critical funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer through PurpleStride Charlotte 2017. Employees and their families have united to create Team Lane with a goal to raise $7,000 to support PanCAN’s mission to advance research, support patients and create hope.

The Lane Construction Corporation has reached an agreement with Texas Central Rail Holdings, LLC (Texas Central) to support preliminary development activities for the Texas Bullet Train, a 240-mile high-speed passenger rail line connecting Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston.

On July 17, 2017 Lane was awarded a $76 million contract for the State Road 408 (SR 408) Widening project from SR 417 to Alafaya Trail in Orange County, FL. More than 77,000 vehicles travel this stretch of SR 408 each day.

Lane, in a joint-venture partnership with Schiavone Construction Co., LLC, has won a $232 million contract for the Bruckner Expressway over Westchester Creek (Unionport Bridge) in Bronx County, New York. The bridge carries between 50,000-60,000 vehicles per day on the Bruckner Expressway Service Road over Westchester Creek in the Unionport/Castle Hill/Throgs Neck Sections of the Bronx.

On July 7, 2017, Lane and its parent company, Salini Impregilo were awarded the $580 million Northeast Boundary Tunnel Project in Washington, D.C. The design-build contract includes the construction of the 27,000-foot-long Northeast Boundary Tunnel, seven deep shafts, and diversion facilities.
